I know it's been awhile. I have been spending some time getting used to my new computer as well as thinking about some new lamp designs. I am thinking about making a very simple lamp base with a small drum shade to go with it. I recently stopped by B and J fabrics to look at their selection of liberty fabrics. This one will be used to make my first prototype. They had so many great patterns it was hard to pick one. I finally decided that I couldn't go wrong with any of them. I liked the vintage feeling of this pattern.

I like this one, it looks like paisley shaped cells ala 50's style. Cute!
